Custom Sign Design FAQs:

What dimensions should I make my sign?

We can make all signs up to 3m x 1.5m which is the size of a standard sheet. If you need a larger sign, this can be done but would need to be reviewed on a case by case basis. Please keep in mind, larger signs may incur higher shipping costs due to their size and weight.

What material should I make my sign from?

Our farm signs are primarily made from durable, lightweight Aluminium, which is highly resistant to corrosion and ideal for enduring the tough Australian weather conditions. However, we also offer signs in Mild Steel, Corten Steel (an architectural rusting steel), and Stainless Steel upon request. While Aluminium can be more flexible and prone to bending during shipping, it remains our top choice for long-lasting, corrosion-resistant signage.

How do I decide what to put on my sign?

We recommend browsing our Landmark, Pioneer and Legacy Sign Collections and images of our previous designs for inspiration. Once you have a vision in mind, make a list of all the design elements you'd like to include and, if possible, specify where you'd like them positioned on the sign. This will help guide the design process and ensure your sign reflects your unique preferences.

How long will my custom design sign take?

Your custom farm sign will take approximately 4–6 weeks from payment to completion. This includes 1–2 weeks for design, 1 week for cutting, and 1–2 weeks for painting. Shipping will take an additional 1–2 weeks depending on your location. Overall, you can expect the full process to take around 5–8 weeks but may vary depending the complexity of the sign.
